Also called yucca palm, tree yucca and palm tree yucca.  Part of yucca  genus Yucca in asparagus  family Asparagaceae.

Native to the arid southwestern 🇺🇸 USA, specifically the Mojave Desert at elevation 400-1800 m (1300-6000 ft).
